Day 1: Arrival

  • Arrival at Tbilisi Airport
  • Transfer to hotel

Day 2: Tbilisi Tour

  • Meeting with a guide after breakfast. Start of the excursion.
  • We will see old Tbilisi
  • We will see Leselidze Street, This is a street where stands Synagogue, Mosque, and the oldest orthodox churches.
  • We will see also famous sulfur royal baths, notes about royal baths are in Marco Polo’s memoirs, in Alexander Pushkini’s writings and Alexander Duma’s books.
  • Next, we will see the Metekhi temple (13th century), we will take teleferik to move on Narikala (4th century), from Narikala you will see the beautiful view of Tbilisi.
  • Next, we will see the bridge of peace, we will see Anchiskhati Basilica (6th century), also we will see Sioni cathedral (12th century)
  • We will see a gallery of wine, this is a place where you will do the degustation of wine.
  • We will walk on the main avenue of Tbilisi – Rustaveli avenue.
  • Dinner at Georgian traditional restaurant (Restaurant service is include into the price)
  • Free time

Day 3: Mtskheta – Borjomi

  • Breakfast in hotel.
  • Meeting with a guide, which one has special knowledge.
  • Hotel checkout.
  • Traveling.
  • Trip to Mtskheta - Borjomi.
  • We will travel to Mtskheta- the ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta, situated at the confluence of the Aragvi and the Mtkvari rivers; Mtskheta is the site of the first Christian churches in Georgia. We visit Jvari Monastery (6th century
  • We will see Jvari monastery (7th century) ), located at the top of the hill. This is the place where the missionary St. Nino erected a cross (“Jvari” in Georgian) in the 4th century to mark the coming of Christianity to Georgia.
  • We visit 11th century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, used for centuries for the coronation and burial of Georgian monarchs. Most importantly, it is considered one of the holiest places in Georgia, since the Robe of Christ is buried here. Svethitskoveli is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Georgia, with exquisite carvings and frescoes. Both Svetitskhoveli and Djvari are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Arrival in the city of Borjomi. This is a kukortny place known for its mineral springs.
  • Borjomi is the small town in mountains. There are many beautiful places to visit there, but most famous the town became because of mineral water Botjomi, with unique healing qualities and taste. It’s been known for centuries, that this water was unique, but it really become famous during Russian reign in Georgia. Russian built here resort, palaces, and found out about mineral water itself. Borjomi water won its first golden medal in 1907 in Belgium. The water has been bottled since 1896

Day – 4: Borjomi – Rabat(Akhaltsukhe) – Tbilisi

  • After breakfast at the hotel, freeing the rooms, meeting with the guide.
  • The main attractions of Borjomi.
  • Borjomi Central Park is the main park of the city where the source of warm mineral water is located. Near the park is a sulfur source, the waters of which also have useful properties.
  • Ropeway;
  • The Green Monastery is a religious monument built at the end of the 9th and the beginning of the 10th centuries.
  • The Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov - a small temple erected in the name of Seraphim of Sarov;
  • Visit to the local museum of Borjomi;
  • The architectural monument of Mirza-Riza Khan House

  • Drive to Akhaltsikhe. Continue towards the town of Akhlatsikhe (New Fortress) that always has had strategic importance. That’ why the fortress Rabat has been built here in IX century, it’s been called the fortress inside the fortress. It was guarding Georgia for centuries, but there were periods, when enemies took over. The fortress keeps traces of both times, giving us unforgettable impression. The fortress has been renovated several years ago. Here you can see the Georgian church, mosque and Madrasa – Islamic school, citadel, and unique museum. The Rabati fortress is one of the highlights of this region.

5 day: Kazbegi – Tbilisi

  • Today we will have an exciting drive, heading north along the Georgian Military Highway into the high Caucasus Mountains. This is the main road running for 220 km from Tbilisi to vladikavkaz in Russia, a spectacular highway that winds its way through sheer mountains. So named by Tsar Alexander I, this Route actually dates from before the 1st century BC and is still important as one of the only links to Russia through Caucasus Mountains.
  • En route we will visit the Ananuri architectural complex (17th century), the two churches and the fortress overlooking the Zhinvali water reservoir. The main church, built in 17th century is considered to be a masterpiece of carving.
  • Our final destination is Gergeti Trinity Church, located at 2170m above sea level. You can visit this unique church, one of the highlights of our tour. Wheatear permit you may catch glimpse of one of the highest picks is Georgia Mt. Kazbegi – Mkinvartsveri( Ice top 5047m).You can enjoy picturesque views all around you. There are several interesting places to see in Kazbegi itself.
  • We will have lunch at local family, taste delicious food, in case you are interested, the housewife will teach you how to make Khinkali. (lunch included in the price).Transfer to Tbilisi.

Day 6: Tbilisi

  • After breakfast, leave the hotel
  • Free time for buying souvenirs
  • Transfer to airport.
  • Departure
