Georgian folk dances are completely unique, the story of their formation goes back a long way, each dance has its own purpose, philosophy and morality. Almost everything is expressed in dance: history, traditions, joy and pain. There are 11 regions in Georgia and each has its own regional dances. There is information that the first mention of the origin of Georgian choreography before our era, this is evidenced by the record of the Greek historian Xenophon dated to the IV century BC, where it is indicated that among the Georgian tribes music of different formats was distributed – secular, military, and dance. For Georgians, dance is a competition, a competition, communication, a conversation without using words, an opportunity for self-expression. They can dance for hours, making the audience experience different emotions.
